Carrollton City Schools are closed this week for Thanksgiving Break… and for that, everyone is thankful! The students, staff, and faculty are all set to enjoy some much needed down time and rest. But…. we must interrupt this holiday break for round three of the GHSA varsity football playoffs! Our Trojans have risen to the first two challenges of the playoff season and now face a strong foe in the Buford Wolves in round three. The Trojan Nation will have to travel to Buford, Georgia this Friday, November 25th, on what many call Black Friday, but maybe we should rename it “Black and Gold Friday” as we cheer on our Mighty Trojans in their quest for a state championship

Friday’s Itinerary

*(Itinerary could change slightly, please watch social media outlets for any updates)

• 2:15pm – Students report to band room to load and dress in partial uniform
• 3:00pm – Depart CHS
• 5:00pm – Arrive at Mall of Georgia for dinner (Students will need to bring money for dinner)
• 6:00pm – Depart for Buford HS
• 6:30pm – Arrive and unload
• 7:30pm – Kick-off
• 11:00pm – Depart for CHS*
• 12:30am – Arrive at CHS*

Uniform

Students should were band shorts, black band shirt, black socks, marching shoes and assigned uniform.  Hair needs to be pulled up off the collar, no jewelry while in uniform.  Make-up needs to look natural.
