Band, Color Guard & Winter Guard Fees

Band, Color Guard & Winter Guard fees are paid directly to Carrollton High School and can be paid in person at the high school via cash, money order or credit/debit card. Please note that Carrollton High School no longer accepts personal checks. 2017 CHS MARCHING BAND FEES

Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion Fees

Marching Band Fees (for all woodwind, brass, and percussion students)  are crucial for our program to continue to function at the high level we have all come to expect. Fees pay for halftime show music, drill, band camp staff, other staff throughout the season, show shirts, and many extras such as when we feed the kids before Friday night away games and Saturday competitions.  Below is a list of fees – most items can be reused from year to year.

  • $225    Annual Marching Band Fees ($50 off for multiple member families)     See due dates below

  • $50    School-owned instrument (per year) – if applicable    Due 8/4/2017
  • $30    School-owned instrument (semester) – if applicable    Due 1st Friday of each semester
  • $70    Band Jacket – (ordered during band camp)     Due 9/1/2017
  • $5    Garment Bag    Due 7/24/2017
  • $40    Duffel Bag (optional)    Due 7/24/2017
  • $40    Marching Shoes    Due 7/24/2017
  • $15    Flip-Folder – required for all stands music    Due 7/24/2017
  • $10    T-shirts    Due 8/4/2017
  • $3    Black Gloves    Due 8/14/2017
  • $3    Long Black Socks – can be purchased anywhere    Due 8/14/2017

*The marching band fees can be paid as soon as you would like to pay them. All band fees will need to be turned in to Mrs. Dothard, the high school band secretary, and she will write you a receipt. We accept cash or money orders, the school no longer accepts checks.  Please drop payments off at the band room instead of mailing them so that we can provide you with a receipt. Annual Marching Band Fee Due Dates

  • Friday, May 19, 2017 • Commitment Fee – $75.00 (Secures your spot in the halftime show)
  • Monday, June 26, 2017 • 2nd installment due – $75.00
  • Monday, July 24, 2017 • Final installment due – $75.00 • (1st day of band camp)
    *A $25 late fee will be added to all past due amounts.  

Annual Color Guard Fees

  • $450    Guard fees ($50 off for multiple member families)    See due dates below
  • $40    Duffle bag    Due 7/24/2017
  • $30    Flag Bag     Due 5/19/2017
  • $40    Warm-Ups    Due 8/14/2017
  • $70    Band Jacket (ordered during band camp)    Due 9/1/2017
    * Duffle Bag, Flag Bag, Jacket, and Warm-Ups can be reused from year to year.

*These fees are crucial for our program to continue to function at the high level we have all come to expect. These fees pay for your uniform, shoes, windsuit, and numerous other items as well as drill, band camp staff, other staff throughout the season, and many extras such as meals before Friday night away games and Saturday competitions. As mentioned previously, you may begin making payments ASAP or you may choose to pay fees in installments. Listed below is the payment schedule for color guard fee installments:

  • Friday, May 19, 2017 • Commitment Fee – $150.00 (Orders your uniform and secures a spot in the show)
  • Monday, June 26, 2017 • 2nd installment due – $150.00
  • Monday, July 24, 2017 • Final installment due – $150.00 • (1st day of band camp)

Band Booster Dues

Carrollton Trojan Band Booster Club membership is open to all parents/guardians of current CHS Band, Color Guard & Winter Guard students and alumni. Annual Band Booster dues are $35.00 per family and are due by August 1st each year. Membership runs from July 1st – June 30th. Band Booster dues can be paid in person at the Carrollton High School Band Room via cash, money order, personal check, or online through the Band Booster Web Store: https://chstrojanband.revtrak.net/

Band dues are part of the band booster budget that provides support to the students and staff throughout the year. Examples of support include: meals, props, equipment trailers and maintenance, band camp expenses, band prom, awards, etc.
