What A Mess!?

Greetings all,

??????????????????????Things can definitely get messy if you are not staying informed and reading our posts and emails each week, so please take a moment, as we begin a new week, and read about these important items.

  • Trick or Treat Village – Our Trick or Treat Village was a huge success, so thank you to everyone who participated in any way. There were tons of photos taken that evening in case you missed it or even if you were there and want to relive the fun.   • Disney Trip – All Disney trip balances are due TODAY! After today, November 3rd, those with remaining balances will forfeit their reservation and all previous payments. There will be no refunds offered after today, November 3rd. Until midnight tonight, November 3rd, you are eligible for a refund of all payments, less the $100 deposit and any online payment fees. These policies have been in place since the trip was announced and are necessary to meet our obligations and secure the proper number of rooms and transportation. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. The Booster Officers will be at the Band Room on this evening, Monday, November 3rd, from 5pm – 7pm to accept payments and answer any questions about the trip. You may also make your final payments online through midnight tonight, Monday, November 3rd (additional fees apply).   • Moe’s Band Spirit Night – This month’s CHS Band Spirit Night is tomorrow, Tuesday (11/4/14), from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. So please make plans to join us for CHS Band Spirit Night at Moe’s Southwestern Grill, located at 1765 South Hwy. U.S. 27, Carrollton, GA. Proceeds from our spirit nights help the Band Boosters continue their support of our band students and band program. These spirit nights have been growing each month and are providing  great benefit to our program, so please make plans to join us at Moe’s!
  • Spirit Items – For those that ordered spirit items, they are starting to arrive! We were able to hand out some items Friday night to those that were at the Trick or Treat Village. We will also have some items with us tonight (11/3/14) at the Disney Trip Payment turn-in night in the Band Room from 5-7pm if you would like to stop by and pick up what is available. Your next opportunity to pick up ordered spirit items will be this Thursday right after practice. If you have any questions or want to make other arrangements, please email us at: chstrojanbands@gmail.com.
  • Itinerary and Volunteer Sign-Ups  – As we prepare for what could be our final game of the season, especially at Grisham Stadium, please take a minute to review this week’s itinerary and volunteer opportunities.

        • 6:15pm – Senior Band Students report to CHS Cafeteria
        • 6:30pm – All Students report in uniform
        • 7:30pm – Kick – Off
        • Half-time – Perform
        • 10:30pm* – Student pick-up at CHS Band Room

Please note, volunteer sign-ups allows us to comply with the school’s request to better manage volunteer gate entry. You must sign-up each week to help with game related activities in order to receive volunteer gate entry. For home games we will be issuing volunteer wristbands to those that sign-up, otherwise, you will be asked to purchase a ticket by the gate attendant to enter the game.Volunteers who sign up to help during half time will need to dress in all black please.
