This week Home vs. Newnan

Friday night was so much fun celebrating our seniors and performing at our first game of the season. Our band performed very well in the stands and especially during half-time. Battle Hymn was a special treat as we had our parents leading members of the student section in pulling the flag. Our community is a great place because we value the mantra: Better Together. Friday nights are special because so many moving parts work together in harmony to achieve the same goal. Here’s to another wonderful Friday night this week as we face off against Newnan High School.

Volunteer Opportunities this Week:

Please click here to sign-up to volunteer for Friday Night’s Game. Please consider helping at least one game. It takes a village to pull off a game and we would love to meet each and every one of you!

Concessions:

We created a sponsorship item that allows people to purchase concessions for a section of their choice at the next home game. If anyone would like to sponsor a section, please click here. This will be available throughout the football season.

All students, click here, to let us know what concessions you would like. You will pay for the items Friday from 5:30-6:00. It is imperative that you complete this form if you would like any of these items even if your section has a sponsorship. Candy will be available for purchase without a pre-order during the 3rd quarter.

Get to know your fellow Boosters/Band Parents!

We all know one of the best ways to get to know people is to eat with them! Well, come get to know other band parents this Friday night at around 5:00-5:30 with a potluck! Bring your own meat (if you want) and drinks, and a side or dessert (or both) to share with others. We will start up the big grill so you can grill if you’d like. We will get done in time to go over and watch the band in the AMP. If you have any questions, reach out to Joshua (joshuajack@mac.com) or Dawn Jack (dawnjack@me.com) for more details! See you then!

Sponsorships – Forms are due now!

All students were asked to turn in sponsorship paperwork by August 20th. If you haven’t turned them in, please do so now. If you need more sponsorship forms or more time, please email Jennifer Carden at jenn.chsbandbooster@gmail.com.
