Last week was outstanding! Our goal was to finish learning the drill for the show and although we were rained out of learning drill on Monday, the students found a way to still get it done! We even managed to finish learning drill by the end of our afternoon block on Saturday so we were able to finish our Saturday rehearsal by watching the best of the best marching bands perform their final 2021 performance in Lucas Oil Stadium. The students had to opportunity to observe students not much older than they are, drum corps performers range in age from 15-21, achieve excellence in the pageantry arts at the highest level. We observed performances by Spirit of Atlanta, Phantom Regiment, the Cavaliers, Carolina Crown, the Mandarins, Bluecoats, Blue Stars, and more. It was a fun way to end a great week! We look forward to polishing the first few movements of our show this week for our game on Friday night.

Concessions:
We created a sponsorship item that allows people to purchase concessions for a section of their choice at the next home game. WOW! Our parents are showing their love to you guys! So far, we have sponsors for our first game for the clarinet, saxophone, and colorguard sections. If anyone would like to sponsor another section, please click here. This will be available throughout the football season.
All students, click here, to let us know what concessions you would like. This has to be completed by tomorrow afternoon. Also, only complete this form one time!
Sponsorships
Students were assigned businesses to ask about sponsoring the band. Students will be rewarded 10% of each sponsorship that they or their parents secure. Money can be applied to band fees or trips. If you need more sponsorship forms please email Jennifer Carden at jenn.chsbandbooster@gmail.com.
If you decide not to participate in our sponsorship drive, please send back in your form so that we can redistribute your list to a student who would like to ask your businesses to sponsor them.
