Band Camp Very Successful!

I would like to thank all the parent volunteers that helped with breakfasts, Trojan Band Concessions, lunches, dinners, uniforms, candles, preparing for Trojan Night and cooking for Trojan Night. Because of your help and support, we were able to have an Awesome Band Camp this year. We love working alongside you to provide the best experiences for our students. Now let’s get ready for some football!!

Week at a Glance:

  • Monday: First day of School – Report to Advisement first
    • Full Band 3:45PM – 6:15PM
  • Tuesday: Full Band 3:45PM – 6:15PM
  • Thursday: Full Band 6:00PM – 9:00PM

Saturday Rehearsal

We will have a Saturday rehearsal on 8.14.2021 from 1:00PM – 9:00PM. We will rehearse in the SAC from 1:00PM – 4:00PM, feed the students dinner, and then rehearse in Grisham Stadium from 6:00PM – 9:00PM.

Water Donations

Thank you to those who have already donate water. Just a reminder that we use thousands of bottles of water each marching season and ask each student to please either donate 4 cases of water or $10. If you haven’t made your donation, please get it turned in this week. Waters can be delivered to the front lobby and we will ask a volunteer to help move them to the designated storage area behind the band building.

Disney Trip – Waiting List & Next Payment Due

The next trip payment is due to Super Holiday Tours on July 26th. If you are paying at the school and not through their website, you need to pay tomorrow.

Did you forget to sign-up for the Disney Trip? We are still allowing people to sign up to be added to our waiting list. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please sign up on the Super Holiday Tours website, but do not pay. Once we know there is available room we will notify you to get caught up with your payments. Please visit our Disney Trip page for more information on how to register. Payments are Past Due

The third and final marching season payment was due next Monday, July 19, the first day of band camp. Also, a quick reminder that the 2 previous payments as well as the required forms are past due at this point. If you forgot to pay or need to make payment arrangements, please call the band room: 770) 834-0550 or email Ms. Dothard can help you with setting up payment arrangements. You can access the forms in the handbook and here is the fee schedule for your convenience. All forms must be turned in by Monday or you risk being sent home from band practice.

If you have been keeping up with the class, there are only 2 weeks left. This week you should complete Unit 8 and next week Unit 9. Parents, please ask to see your child’s Google Classroom so that you can assist with checking their progress.
