Photo from last year’s trip to Hollywood! Our band looked GREAT!
Concert Recap
This past Thursday our students performed beautifully along with the rest of the Carrollton Arts departments. Gorgeous banners were created by the art classes, drama performed scenes on stages created out of the wings, and the choir and band performed numbers alone and together! We were even visited by Carrollton Alumni Brian Crews and Cesar Ramirez for a wonderful addition to Holiday Road! It was a light-hearted evening full of wonderful memories!
District Honor Band Auditions
Many of our students auditioned for district honor band auditions and we had quite a few make it! District honor band is a competitive process that requires students to prepare much on their own. We are very fortunate to have Christopher Mothersole and Michael Miller visit us once a week to help pull out students to prepare, but the process still requires students to practice outside of the school day to prepare. These students are setting a great example for all of our students. Please help me in congratulating the following students who will travel to Ringgold in February for the District Honor Band:
