Last week our band helped the City of Carrollton ring in the Christmas season by marching in the Holiday of Lights Christmas Parade on Thursday night.

This week we will continue the festivities with a collaborative performance with our choir and actors during the annual Christmas concert this Thursday night at 7PM in the Mabry Arts Center.

Friday our Jazz Band performed at the Georgia School Board Association Conference with 3 vocalists from our Trojan Trebles.  They were AWESOME!

This past Saturday we had students audition for the All-State Jazz Band and are still awaiting results.

District Honor Band Auditions

Students who have signed up for District Honor Band have auditions on Saturday, December 14 at East Paulding High School.  Our scheduled time is 1:00PM.  Students should arrive by 12:30PM to register and warm-up before auditioning.  Auditions will take place on a first-come, first-served basis.  Once you are finished warming up, please report to your assigned room and get in line for your audition.  Judges are at lunch from 12:00-1:00, so if you arrive at 12:30 and warm-up, you should be able to get in line around 12:50 and be one of the first to audition after lunch.

All-In-One Extras

After the All-In-One sale was over, we had some bacon, sausage, smoked turkey and cajun turkey leftover. If you would be interested in purchasing any of those items for your upcoming holiday meals, please contact Ed Redmond (ebredmond@gmail.com) to arrange pick up and payment. We only have limited quantities available so it will be first come first served.
