Monday: Just a reminder that we have our “Upgrade Your Sound” event in the band room from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.  Representatives from Music and Arts will be available to answer questions and will be brining intermediate/professional model instruments for our students to test out.  There is no obligation to purchase.  They are doing this as a favor to us since the other one that they hosted was so far away.

Also –  Mr. Carr will be finishing up some snow-flakes for use at the concert.  He will ask in class to see if there are any students staying after school for their help. 

Tuesday: Concert at 7:00PM.  We will prepare the stage after school.

• Students start a brief warm up and rehearsal at 6:00PM on stage.
• Students should wear black bottoms and something festive.  The students voted to wear “Tacky Christmas Sweaters,” which is ok but not required.  Students may wear anything festive with black pants and shoes, or just wear all black like they did for the last concert.  We still had a few students who do not have their tuxedos and dresses.  Thank you all for working diligently to secure our formal concert attire, we will wear these for our concert in February.

Thank you so much for your dedication and hard work to make our band program the best it can be!  I hope that all of you are having as much fun as I am as our students continue to grow together as musicians and a band family.  I am continually impressed with the continued effort of all of our parents who go above and beyond regularly for the good of our program.  Just a few great successes were the organization and help we had at our All in One Sale Pick-Up and the Carrollton Christmas Parade.  Great job to all who helped to make these events successful!  I really appreciate your help.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday at our Christmas Concert!
