Friday, we hosted a watch party in the Carrollton AMP, and it was PACKED! We are thankful to the City of Carrollton for allowing us to host the event and for providing outstanding support with the livestream and overall logistics. It was a fun evening performing alongside our cheerleaders and bringing joy to our community.
On Saturday, some Trojan Band members participated in the annual JSU Band Day hosted by the Marching Southerners at Jacksonville State University. They participated in sectionals to learn the music, the full band rehearsal, and the halftime performance during JSU’s home game. We are so proud of Carson Moore, Elizabeth Moomey, Reis Grimes, Amorie Buchanan, Stevie Releford, Charli Releford, Benjamin Haley, and William Haley for representing our community so well at the event! It was extra special that former Trojans Hunter Moore and Logan Moore had the opportunity to march with Carson Moore one more time before Logan graduates in the Spring.

Trojan Band Alumnus Walker McCullough, Battle Hymn Soloist
UGA had their home opener this past Saturday against Tennessee State, and the game began with one of our own performing the Battle Hymn Solo. Walker served as our trumpet coach at band camp this year, and we are so proud of his continued success. Congratulations, Walker, for living your dream. You continue to make us proud!
