Celebrated our Seniors with another Win!

Last week, we had so much to celebrate. Friday night’s Gold Out Game was an exciting evening as the Trojans defeated their opponent 61–6 to improve to 2–0 on the season! We were proud to celebrate alongside the Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation and recognize our eSports and Track teams for their state championship finishes last year.

Most importantly, Friday was Senior Night, and we loved having the opportunity to celebrate our incredible seniors throughout the day. We started with our Senior Breakfast Friday morning, recognized our seniors and their families during the Senior Night ceremony before the game, and finished the evening with our traditional Senior Night Party in the band room.

Thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who made the day possible! From preparing uniforms and feeding our students to running concessions, helping with Senior Night, and managing countless behind-the-scenes logistics, we are incredibly grateful for your support.

And what a halftime performance! The students continue to make tremendous progress with Guiding Light, and Friday night was another big step forward. Their energy, focus, and commitment were evident, and we are excited to keep building as we move further into the season.

This week brings a more normal rehearsal schedule as we continue refining and adding to Guiding Light. We will finish the week with a special performance at the Watch Party on Friday evening at the Carrollton AMP in downtown Carrollton.

Thank you for another great week of supporting our students and the Trojan Band. We have a lot to be proud of, and a lot to look forward to!

Carrollton AMP Performance

This Friday, our team is away in Louisiana. We are performing at the watch party in the Carrollton AMP downtown. Although the details were still being worked out, the performance has been on the calendar since our parent meeting in April. We will take buses to the performance and will perform some during pre-game, commercial breaks, half-time, and after the game.

Students will receive 10% of the sponsorship to assist with their band fees. We have physical copies in the band room if you’d like a few to share with potential partners. Sponsorships provide meaningful opportunities and experiences for our students while allowing our community partners to support and be connected with the Trojan Band.
