Last week we celebrated Homecoming! It was a fun filled week full of dress up days, collecting donations for the Gold and Black Give Back, sweethearts, homecoming king and queens, celebrating alumni, and performing Battle Hymn with our Football team! Thank you so much to the alumni who participated with us on Friday night! We LOVED having the opportunity to perform with you for pre-game and in the stands. We hope that you had a great time too!
The performance after the game was spectacular! It’s always a fun night seeing some of our students who were on court or were sweethearts perform the show in the formal wear. They do so with such grace and beauty, it’s such a sight to see! Here are some photos from the evening.
This week we are off from school, but we still have our football game on Friday. We will report at 4:00PM to get ready for the evening, and cheer on our Trojans!

All in One Sale
Each year, the Boosters hold several fundraisers, including the All-In-One Sale in the fall and the BBQ in the spring.
As a result of the hard work that you do, the Band Boosters can provide many things for our outstanding band that would not otherwise be possible. The more we sell this fall, the more we will provide for our band. Most importantly, this helps to keep our band fees low.
To accomplish our goals, we are asking that each band family support the sale. Parents, this is a busy time of the year for our band kids. Therefore, we ask for your help in making this sale a success. Ask your family, neighbors, friends, and employers if they would like to make a purchase. If a customer does not want to purchase the meat or dessert, ask for a donation – any amount will help us reach our goal.
Packets were passed out to the band students last week. If your child did not bring one home, please ask them where it is. It most likely is in their book bag. Enclosed in this All-In-One packet, you will find the order forms and family summary sheet. When completing the order form, please make sure that the details are legible. Tear the copy portion off the order form to give to the customer and retain the top half in the envelope. Update the family summary sheet to track your orders and all money collected. All order forms and the summary sheet will be turned in on the date listed below. Online sales are also available at the site listed below! Do not track online sales on the order summary sheet. We will have Spiral Honey Glazed Ham, Smoked Turkey Breast, Cajun Smoked Turkey, Cajun Smoked Chicken, Peppercorn Bacon, Regular Bacon, Pork Sausage, and New York Style Cheesecake for sale. Our community is very supportive of the All-In-One sale – they are just waiting for us to ask them to buy!
To place an online order, please visit – chsbandshop.com
NOTE: Please be sure that you complete the family summary sheet!
Important dates:
- October – Begin selling!!!
- October 30th – Turn-In packets 5:00pm – 6:30pm at the Band Room.
- November 21st, 9AM-6PM & November, 22nd 9AM-Noon – Pickup items at North Point Baptist Church, 1400 Cedar Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117.
We are all working together to make this sale a success. If you have any questions or concerns, please call. Thank you again for your participation in this sale and for all that you do to support our children and our great band!

Legacy of Champions
The Legacy of Champions is our home marching band competition. This is a day where we host other marching bands and we need all hands on deck for this day. We need parents and students to work at least 1 shift to assist us with the day. Please fill out this form to volunteer now.

Trojan Band Golf Tournament
We are hosting a Golf Tournament at Mirror Lake Golf Club on November 3 to benefit our band program. Jacob Moomey has organized the event and secured a few teams and sponsors already. If you know of anyone who would like to sponsor the event or play in the event, we would greatly appreciate your help sharing the word! Download this flyer and share it on social media please!

We are traveling to Universal Studios! Sign Up Today
We currently have a waiting list for the trip. You can still sign up for the trip, but will be added to the waiting list until a spot opens up. You can access the information to sign up for the trip at https://chstrojanband.com/26-bandtrip/ • Sign up using the links to the Super Holiday Tours website.
Chocolate Bar Fundraiser • We have Chocolate Left to Sell
Although our goal was to completely sell out of chocolate by September 5, we still have chocolate left to sell. If you have not turned in your money from the original box that you took home in August, that money is now due. Thank you so much to the families who have sold multiple boxes! We will keep selling until we sell out. Remember, you earn $25 per box sold to use towards band fees or towards the Universal Trip once the band fees are paid off.
Sponsorship Drive • We need your help
We need your help securing sponsors for our Trojan Band. Students will earn 10% of any sponsorship that they secure to use towards band fees or the Universal Trip. Sponsors have helped provide meals for away games and competitions, they help us maintain our fleet of vehicles so that we can transport equipment to football games and competitions, they help us purchase materials for props for half-time productions, and their generosity in addition to our fundraising efforts helps us keep our band fees affordable for our families.
Sponsors can receive advertising at our Legacy of Champions Competition and other thank-you gifts from our Booster Club for their support. For more information, please contact Heather Warren. We must be strategic and not all contact the same businesses. Please reach out to Ms. Warren before reaching out to businesses independently so that we do not bombard our generous community of supporters. If you have a personal connection with any specific businesses, please let Ms. Warren know so that we can work together for our students.
