I have include Sunday’s website update below in case you missed it or need to reference any of it, but we have some updates regarding Friday as well as information about composite photos that will take place during classes on Monday, October 24 below.
Updates regarding Friday
- Westlake is selling a limited number of tickets. You can only purchase tickets through GoFan: https://gofan.co/app/events/651336?schoolId=GA5381
- Westlake has a clear bag policy.
- No bags, bookbags, coolers or any containers are allowed in the stadium. Clutch bags will be allowed to be carried for medicine, diapers etc.
- Those “Clutch” bags will be searched at the gate. No exceptions.
- No individual smelling of or appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or any substance will be allowed in the stadium and will be ejected from the property.
- Attendees will be allowed in after a handheld metal detector screening.
Composite Photos on Monday • October 24, 2022
Students will take composite photos in their band uniform on October 24 during their band class.

Congratulations to our Carrollton Junior High Wind Ensemble!
Our CJHS Wind Ensemble under the direction of Ms. Maria Menendez will perform as a featured ensemble at this year’s Reinhardt University Middle School Honor Band event. Their concert is this Friday night at the Falany Center for the Performing Arts on Reinhardt’s campus at 7:00PM. We are so proud of your continued growth! This is the first of many to come. Keep up the great work! You can catch a performance of their program by attending their home concert Monday, October 17 at 7:00PM in the Mabry Arts Center.

Veterans’ Day Concert • November 14
Our first concert of the year is quickly approaching. Reminder, we have after school rehearsals next week to prepare for the concert. Information regarding concert attire will be announced very soon.

Help Us Honor Our Veterans
We would like to honor family members and friends of the Carrollton Trojan Band with the creation of a slide show to be presented at our Veteran’s Day Concert on November 14, 2022. The concert is FREE and open to the public. We would be honored by your presence if you are able to attend. Please help us to spread the word!
All In One Sale Pick Up
Please remind everyone who ordered from you that pick up for the All in One Sale is November 18 or 19 at Tabernacle Baptist Church. We will need volunteers to assist these days. 9:00AM – 5:00PM on November 18 and 9:00AM – 12:00PM on November 19.

THANK YOU so much to our parents and friends who have ordered items from our Amazon Wishlist! The snacks for the away games, Gadsden and South Paulding were all provided from generous donations from our Amazon Wishlist. If you are able and willing to assist by purchasing items from the wishlist it helps both monetarily and assist us with our time since it removes the need for someone to go out and purchase the items. If you see items on our list that you can find less expensive elsewhere and would rather shop for them, we have a booster storage room where we can store donated snacks.
