Happy Halloween! Short week ahead:

The weather was not ideal for us on Friday, but our students performed with enthusiasm! We performed a show consisting of some of our favorite stands tunes so that we didn’t need keyboards or flags and our crowd really enjoyed the performance! Our students had a great time cheering on our Trojans to another victory!! Go Trojans!

Tuxedos will be fitted on Monday after school at 3:45pm.  If you are unable to attend the tuxedo fitting, please visit the Squire Shop on Maple Street. They will size you for your tuxedo and order it for you.

Dress fittings will take place during class next week. Any moms who are available to help us fit dresses during the school day 9:00am-11:30am, please email barbara.dothard@carrolltoncityschools.net

Booster Meeting

We will have a booster meeting on November 9 at 6:30pm in the band room following the Symphonic/Concert Band rehearsal.

Veterans Day Concert

Our first concert is quickly approaching and is scheduled for Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2021 at 7:00pm in the MAC.

In preparation for our concert we need after school rehearsals to practice together with our winds and percussion who are in separate classes.  Wind Ensemble will practice on Monday, November 8 from 3:45-6:00 and Symphonic/Concert Band will practice on Tuesday, November 9 from 3:45-6:00.

Wind Ensemble will also perform for our high school Veterans Day assemblies on November 11.  The first assembly is at 10:00am and the second one is at 2:20pm.  Students who need notes for college classes, please contact Mr. Carr so that he can assist you in receiving proper permission to participate. This is an important service to our school and community and it requires all of our participation to make it successful.

Playoff Game Date Change Reminder

An email was sent out informing everyone as soon as we learned of this change. If you did not receive the email, then your contact information may need to be updated in Charms. The playoff game that was scheduled for Nov 12 has been moved to Saturday, November 13 due to a shortage of referees to officiate GHSA events.
