Band Dinner and Awards — Tuesday, May 1, 2018

We are looking forward to our Band dinner and awards evening. Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm and awards will follow at approximately 6:45 pm (it may be closer to 7:00 pm). Annual Trojan Band Barbecue — THIS Thursday May 3, 2018

It is not too late to sell more BBQ tickets!! Please take a few minutes to ask your neighbors, boss, friends, family, church, local businesses, etc. if they could support the Trojan Band!! This is an important fundraiser for our program and we need everyone to participate! If you are unable or choose not to participate, please turn in $150 to the band boosters.

We also need more volunteers during the day of the barbecue! We especially need drivers to deliver large orders from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Volunteering is a great way to support the band as well as get to know the students and other parents! We will be getting started Thursday morning at 8:00 AM in the visitors’ concession stand of Grisham Stadium.

Band Prom — May 12, 2018

The Band Prom is a night where our band students get dressed up and dance! Students decorate the band room and bring snacks to share. The theme this year is, The Great Gatsby. It is a fun night for our band students! Please encourage your student to participate!

• May 3 – Band Barbecue
• May 8 – Spring Concert 7 pm
  • WORLD PREMIERE – Grosso Blue by Katahj Copley featuring former Trojan Daniel Kuntz on clarinet, Kyle Willoughby on Bass Clarinet, and Mr. Carr on clarinet. It is going to be awesome! You don’t want to miss this concert!
• May 12 – Band Prom
• May 23 – Trip Payment Due Date ($419)
