This time of the year as the band begins the transition to concert season and everyone is also planning out strategies to try stretch their budgets for the holidays, so we want to try and help! Next Thursday, November 20th, from 6pm until 8pm, we will be hosting a Trojan Band Trade Day where you can buy, sell or trade used band items. This particular trade day will focus on items associated with and needed to participate in Concert Band, i.e. tuxedos, dresses, shoes etc. So if you are an freshman band member, new to the Carrollton band family, or have simply out grown last year’s attire, then this will be a great opportunity to hopefully save a little money.

But…. for this event to be a success we need our current CHS band parents and CHS band alumni to clean out those closets, make some trips into the attic or basement and bring those gently used, no longer needed, out-grown items to the trade day. You provide the goods… we provide the space and tables. This will be a great opportunity for you to help save families a little money while putting a little extra in your pocket! A win-win for everybody!

We are also trying to have a representative and/or information about the purchase of new formal wear available that evening, but cannot confirm/guarantee that at the time of this post.

All deals, pricing, transactions, agreements and claims are between the individuals who choose to participate in the event. All transactions will be conducted person to person via cash, check or trade, without the involvement of the CHS Band, CHS Band Boosters or Carrollton High School. Those participating in transactions are doing so at their own discretion and risk.

Students will be required to secure Concert Band attire soon, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to save some money before orders are taken for full-priced, new items.
