We had another very busy and successful week last week. We finished up Percussion and Colorguard Auditions, had students perform at the annual GMEA District VII Solo & Ensemble Performance Evaluations at Paulding County HS, was represented in the State Kiwanis Showcase Championships in Macon, and had our band awards night followed by a party in the band room. HUGE THANK YOU to the parents who made last night successful! We were blessed by volunteers who set up the awards, set up the party, served food at the party, and helped clean it all up. THANK YOU SO MUCH! It has been an outstanding year and it was such a fun evening celebrating our students’ achievements.

Band BBQ This Thursday!

Although our presale has officially finished. You can continue to share and advertise the event. It is a wonderful day for our band program which brings our community together and meals can be purchased at the counter. Thank you so much for your help in spreading the word!

Music performances begin at 6:00PM.

• 6:00PM: CB Jazz (CB Jazz have instruments ready by 5:45PM)
• 6:25PM: Symphonic Jazz Orchestra (SJO have instruments ready by 6:10PM)
• 6:55PM: 1st Block Jazz Band (1st Block JB have instruments ready by 6:40PM)
• 7:30PM: Trojan Band • Stands Tunes and Battle Hymn (Meet outside the band room to march in at 7:20PM)
• We will begin drawing raffle prizes at 6:45PM and continue throughout the performances until all are awarded.

Spring Concert • May 7, 2024

We will share our concert with our CUES Band, which will push our performance time back to 7:15PM. We will wear our formal concert attire for the concert. Students should arrive at the MAC with their instruments and all music by 6:50PM.

Charms Changes Ahead – Soon to be CutTime

We received news that our database that we use to keep information for the booster club has been purchased by another company. We are in the process of migrating the information and wanted to give you a heads up before the changes take place. The new software is called CutTime and it will offer similar features that we had access to in Charms.
