Happy Spring!

UPDATED: We will rehearse with the students traveling to New York on Wednesday and Friday this week and next week from 3:30-5:00 to prepare for our performance in NYC.

On this first day of Spring, I bring you good news!  Our concert bands performed at Large Group Performance Evaluations hosted at Rome High School last Thursday and received straight superior ratings!  Let me say that again – All 3 groups received SUPERIOR ratings!  More importantly, the students carried themselves professionally all day and provided the audience with memorable experiences.  I am so extremely proud of our students for their dedication to excellence and the efforts that they give daily to achieve it.

On Thursday our Wind Ensemble performs as an invited ensemble at the 2017 Music For All Southeastern Regional Concert Festival at Georgia State University.  The performance in free to the public and we would love for parents and friends to be in the audience cheering us on.  More information about the clinic can be found here: http://gsuconcertfestival.org/about/overview/.  It is a great honor to be invited to perform at this event.  It will undoubtedly be a memorable performance that the students will cherish for their lifetimes.
