What a Night!

What a night! I just want to thank everyone who made last night such a success. Feeding 600 people in any amount of time is a spectacle, and our family fed them in under 45 minutes! Did I mention that we fed this many people in addition to continuing to prepare for our home opener? Incredible job with the logistics last night! Alabama was welcomed with the red carpet, Newnan was welcomed with the red carpet, and we still provided for our students flawlessly. Impressive! If you had any part in making last night successful, I appreciate you. From parking trucks and buses, serving the masses, passing out uniforms, preparing our stands, working put crew, participating in pulling the flag, cheering for our kids, and cleaning up afterwards. Thank you! It was very cool to see how organized our family was, to be assisted by our football boosters and the grill master in preparing the food (he asked to be anonymous- but you know who he is) and to be supported so well by our administration. Members of our CHS, our transportation department, and CES worked hard for us to secure facilities and welcome our bands. Alabama was impressed and so was I. You guys should be very proud! I know that I am. Then our kids put on a fantastic night of spirit in the stands and effort during halftime! It’s only going to get better!
God bless! Have a restful holiday weekend. Students: no school on Monday. See you on Tuesday.
Extremely proud of our ROCKSTARS! Mr. Carr
