Time to continue (or start if you haven’t already) drinking plenty of WATER

Good evening!

Just wanted to write a quick note to everyone as a reminder to hydrate! Band camps are just around the corner. In addition to drinking at least 8 – 8 oz. glasses of water, begin conditioning your body to be outside. Some good ways to do that is by taking a 30-45 minute walk, riding your bike, mowing the lawn, weeding the garden, etc. If you do decide to partake in some outdoor activity then you need more than just the 8 glasses of water. You will need those, plus enough to replenish any fluid lost due to our favorite activity, sweating!

I also wanted to make a note on a job well done! Thank you to everyone’s efforts in making our 4th of July Parade a success! I appreciate the students working hard, sweating, and performing with confidence and pride the entire length of the parade. WELL DONE! We couldn’t have done it without the parents who prepared the water, made sure everything was loaded, and pulled the trailer to and from the parade route! Also, thank you to our talented staff who prepared the students for the performance. It takes everyone to make every performance count. Thank you all for your doing your part!
