The CHS Band Boosters are excited to announce the 2015 Band trip information! It is customary for our band to take a trip every two years. Our most recent excursion was to San Diego, CA in December 2012. Everyone that attended that trip knows that it was crazy, fun, and rewarding all at the same time. It was definitely a holiday to remember but now it is time to move towards another thrilling retreat for out hardworking band students and faculty.

The Boosters have been working with West GA Travel Agency to reserve a sensational trip to legendary Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Who doesn’t like Disney World, right? Where else can kids and adults have a fantastic time all in the same place? I mean, who doesn’t like to just be a kid some days anyway? It is our goal to make sure the kids have a “FUN” trip; one to remember!

The finishing details are still in progress but we do have the date and some details for you. With all of the exciting events that the band and guard tackle and accomplish throughout the year it was really difficult to squeeze in a trip but rest assured we found the perfect time. After all, our kids and band directors deserve the BEST! Between football season, competitions, indoor percussion and winter guard it was necessary to choose a time and date carefully as to accommodate all aspects of our active and eventful band.

Departure: Wednesday, January 28, 2015
Return: Sunday, February 1, 2015
Transportation: Charter buses round-trip
Hotel: To Be Determined; Kids will stay 4 to a room
Price: $575.00 per person, which includes: Charter bus round-trip, hotel, admission to park each day, parade performance inside the park, breakfast vouchers, counter service vouchers (7-8 meals) group gathering at least one night (ex. beach BBQ or dessert party)
