CHS Trojan Band

The Carrollton High School Trojan Band, one of the oldest band programs in the state, was founded in 1948 by Mr. John Dilliard. Under the leadership of only a handful of directors since, the band's success has been legendary and continues to thrive. In 2013, the band completed its marching season by earning all Superior ratings at local contests for the 41st consecutive year, a feat matched by no other high school band program in Georgia. While the band has had the honor to perform at many state, national and even international events over its history, its favorite venue is still Grisham Stadium, performing for the home crowd on a Friday night!

Trojans are 6-0 and 1st Competition this Saturday

Our Trojans are now 6-0 after a big win against the reigning Alabama state 6A Football Champions, Parker HS from Birmingham. We had a great time hosting our 8th graders on Friday making the band 265 members strong! Thank you to Ms. Menendez, all of the 8th graders, and our INCREDIBLE booster parents who helped us with the logistics of hosting this many extra band students. Our leadership created goody bags, parents ordered and served pizzas and a beautiful cake, Transportation provided a charter bus – it was an awesome evening! 5-0 Heading into 8th Grade Night

5-0 to start the season! Thank you for bringing the energy to Gainesville and cheering our Trojans on to another victory, then demonstrating discipline and determination by rehearsing on Saturday from 1:00PM – 9:00PM. We have 8th Grade Night this week and our first competition on September 27. Hold on, the next few weeks will feel like they are moving really fast! Go Trojans!

Trojans now 4-0 after Senior Night Victory

Outstanding job on Senior Night! Thank you to everyone who helped make the day special. We have some extraordinary seniors and we got to celebrate them right. Our football team was victorious again in a very quick game against Lithia Springs. This week we have our composite photos on Thursday and travel to Gainesville on Friday. Our Saturday rehearsal is on Saturday from 1:00pm – 9:00pm. We continue Onward and Upward! Go Trojans!
