Thank you so much to the volunteers who assisted us with straightening the booster club areas in the band room! A team reorganized the storage areas upstairs so that it makes more sense for the guard and band uniforms. Another team organized the freezer room and even defrosted the entire freezer to clean it out! A team washed out all of the water coolers to get them ready for this season. Another team organized the “Castle” with the LoC room and the prop storage area. We had many parents and students there to assist, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you so much for volunteering your time to make that space better for our band program!

Summer Health Class

The eADAP certificate was due 2 weeks ago. If your child has not completed this portion of the Health class, they are falling behind and need to get caught up. We cannot provide credit without completing the eADAP course, which is a mandatory step to get a driver’s license.

Students who participate in the Marching Band at Carrollton High School have a special opportunity to complete a health course online to receive credit for Health and PE through participation in the Marching Band. This information was posted to the Google Classroom last Thursday. Students participating in this opportunity should be enrolled in the Google Classroom (code: s5ik2u3c).

STEP 1: Complete eADAP Certification • Click Here for Registration

• You will receive an email with your Login Information

• Complete the eADAP Course
• Upload a PDF of your eADAP Certificate to the eADAP assignment in this Google Classroom. 
• Tip – if you do not receive your log in information email,  try this: use your email as your username and the first 4 digits of your last name and the month and day of your birthday (carr0714) as your password. The password should be 8 digits long.

STEP 2: Complete Coursework via Edgenuity • Details Below • If you cannot log in to Edgenuity, Dr. Carr needs to know by Monday, June 2, 2025. Email him at christopher.carr@carrolltoncityschools.net if you are unable to log in.

Uniform Sizing Dates

Mrs. Bush and our uniform committee have set aside these times during the summer to make sure that students are fitted for uniforms in time for our photos during the first week of band camp. Please make an appointment using the links. The times are separated by class, but if you need to attend one of the other sessions please email Mrs. Bush or Dr. Carr and sign up for the appointment that does work for you.

We are traveling to Universal Studios!

On Friday, June 13, we had a virtual meeting to announce this year’s trip. If you missed it, here how you can get the inforamtion and sign up for the trip! The first deposit was due on June 20, but you can still sign up. Right now we still have room. We would love for all students in the Trojan Marching Band to travel with us to Universal Studios this March! We will travel from March 20 – 24, 2026, and participate in a sound stage experience where the students will record the background music, dialogue, and sound FX for a scene from Despicable Me! This will be an exciting experience in addition to the opportunities to observe the performance industry while visiting Universal Studios Orlando, Islands of Adventure, and the newest park EPIC Universe! We will spend 2 days at EPIC, and have 2 days at Universal/Islands of Adventure with park-to-park privileges, so the students will have the opportunity to ride many roller coasters throughout the trip!

Attention Class of 2026

Photos for the football program are for you and your immediate family on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 2:00PM – 6:00PM in the SAC Gym. Photos are taken on a first come, first served basis. You should wear your uniform and your parents should wear school colors or Trojan gear.
