Saturday closed the chapter on another outstanding competitive season. We continued our 53 year streak of Superior Ratings, earned 1st place drum major, 2nd place percussion, 2nd place colorguard, and 3rd place band in open class as well finished 3rd overall at the OldSoutheastern Marching Invitational hosted by Newnan HS. The students finished with an electric final competitive performance of our show Sparks of Imagination and continue to impress us with their professionalism. We are proud of the risks the students took throughout the season and the growth that they continue to exhibit. We are thankful for the leadership of our senior class who have been outstanding role models throughout the season! It’s bittersweet when one more time becomes one last time. Seniors, thank you for being a mentor to others and ensuring that we continue raising our standard of excellence!

Friday our football team clinched the region championship with a win against Douglas County. Our first playoff game will be on November 15 at home. Most likely we will face Dacula HS. We look forward to continuing our season and helping our football team advance each week!

Legacy of Champions Video Ordering Instructions

Corey Speights of the University of West Georgia recorded the LoC for us last Saturday. Below are instructions to order a copy of our performance from him.

Our fruit vendor, Florida Indian River Groves, informed us that six tornados produced by Hurricane Milton impacted Indian River County that damaged their property and resulted in some fruit loss. They assured us that the remaining fruit is of exceptional quality and reminded us that it is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Due to the damages it has understandably put them behind schedule, so they will be unable to deliver by November 22. We will still have the meats that were ordered ready for pick up at Tabernacle on November 22 from 9:00AM – 6:00PM and November 23 from 9:00AM – 12:00PM, but the fruits will not be delivered until the first week of December. We do not have a specific delivery date at this time, but it will be between December 2nd and 6th. More information will be announced as it becomes available.
