Trojans 2-0, Home vs. Rome this Friday

Last week our band continued their extraordinary efforts! We finished learning part 3 of the show and debuted Sparks of Imagination for the home crowd. Our football team won the second game of the season and our students had a great time trading stands tunes with a very entertaining Columbia HS band. This Friday we face off against Rome HS! We plan on performing our newest section of the show, Jug Blues and Fat Pickin’! Additionally, we will have a special presentation during Pre-Game this week. Get to the game early so that you can help us honor Staff Sergeant William Rivers.

Rome Game Itinerary

We have another home game on Friday. Students should eat before reporting at 6:00PM to get into uniform. Students should pre-order their concessions on Thursday between 5:00pm – 5:45pm in the band room lobby.

  • 5:50PM Stairwell closed to ascending traffic so that we can get the uniforms down the band room
  • 6:00PM Report and get into uniform
  • 6:30PM Uniform Check
  • 6:45PM Depart for the AMP (Shorter this week)
  • 7:10PM Pre-Game
  • 7:30PM Kick-Off
  • 10:30ish Game Ends

Band Shop

Chrissy Robinson is working hard to bring great new merch options to our band fans. She will have the following items available on Friday nights in front of the band room for home games as well as Thursday night rehearsals between 7:30pm – 8:30pm. If you need something on Thursday, please email her at chrisnico52784@gmail.com so that she can make sure to have it out for you.

Thank you to everyone who has already brought in water! We are still collecting water and can accept donations any day next week. Thank you so much for your help in keeping our students hydrated!

Health in Band • Edgenuity • PAST DUE

All work was due by Friday, July 26, 2024. If you have not completed the eADAP course yet, that is still open. Get it done now. The rest of the coursework must be completed in Edgenuity and is set up by an assistant principal. If you did not complete the Edgenuity for any reason, please email Dr. Carr. He will be discuss how to proceed with administration.

How to log into Edgenuity:

  1. Visit: www.clever.com/in/Trojans and LOG IN, using your school login information. 
  2. Click on Imagine Edgenuity, it has a purple icon

MAGIC LINKs were sent out last week. Each link is specific per guardian and should not be shared. The link will allow you to access your students account. In the account you will be able to access an itemized report of your band account, the schedule, and more. Make sure that you save it and keep it handy. I plan on sending a message about the website being updated via that link as well as Remind to help us transition to this new platform.
