Next Monday begins the 24-25 School Year!

It’s been a great summer! Band Camp was fantastic and our students continue striving towards another outstanding season. Thank you so much to the students who were able to perform for our high school teachers on Monday and all of our teachers on Wednesday! Our band brings the SPIRIT and made both of these events memorable experiences. We have one week before we welcome the students back to campus full time.

DCI Watch Party • August 10

All CHS Trojan Band members are invited to watch DCI Finals together in the band room. DCI is marching band’s major league. These performers work all summer long to prepare their shows and finals is the championship performance. Only the top 12 performing corps make it to finals, each performance will be extraordinary!

This is an evening of fellowship watching drum corps. Bring camping chairs, bean bags, etc to make yourself comfortable in the band room.

Dinner will be provided. The event lasts from 5:30PM -11:30PM in the band room.

Open House is an opportunity to visit with your teachers and to find your classes, once most schedule change requests have been filled. We look forward to welcoming you as we prepare for another outstanding school year!

1st Day of School • August 12

Quick reminder that the 1st day of school is on August 12. Students will report to advisement first that morning. The warning bell for the start of school is 8:20AM, and 1st block begins at 8:25AM. School is released at 3:15PM. Please review our dress code in the parent/student handbook when planning your school day attire. Handbook en español.

Thank you to everyone who has already brought in water! We are still collecting water and can accept donations any day next week. Thank you so much for your help in keeping our students hydrated!

Health in Band • Edgenuity • PAST DUE

All work was due by Friday, July 26, 2024. If you have not completed the eADAP course yet, that is still open. Get it done now. The rest of the coursework must be completed in Edgenuity and is set up by an assistant principal. If you did not complete the Edgenuity for any reason, please email Dr. Carr. He will be discuss how to proceed with administration.

  1. Visit: www.clever.com/in/Trojans and LOG IN, using your school login information. 
  2. Click on Imagine Edgenuity, it has a purple icon

CutTime

We are very close to completely transitioning over to CutTime. Once we transition each member’s guardian will receive a text message from the database. In this text message will be a MAGIC LINK. Each link is specific per guardian and should not be shared. The link will allow you to access your students account. In the account you will be able to access an itemized report of your band account, the schedule, and more. Once you receive this link, save it and keep it handy.
