We hope that everyone was able to get some much needed rest and family time during the Winter Break last week. We start back tomorrow and things will be full steam ahead through the end of the school year. There is a lot going on, so be sure to sync your calendar. This week we resume our after school rehearsals, send students to the All-State Band in Athens, GA, and cheer on our Winter Guard as they attend the 2nd competition of their season on Saturday at Harrison High School.

All-State Band Weekend

These students travel to Athens on Thursday to participate in the GMEA All-State Band. They earned membership through a multi-round competitive audition process. Their experience will culminate in a concert on Saturday on the beautiful Classic Center stage. Please help us congratulate these outstanding students on their hard work and this extraordinary accomplishment.

Black History Month Performance

Thank you so much to our Wind Ensemble students who learned and performed Chamber Music at the inaugural African Americans in the Arts celebration hosted at the MAC on February, 15. It was a delightful evening and you all represented us with dignity and class! Here are a few photos from the evening.

Charms Changes Ahead – Soon to be CutTime

We received news that our database that we use to keep information for the booster club has been purchased by another company. We are in the process of migrating the information and wanted to give you a heads up before the changes take place. The new software is called CutTime and it will offer similar features that we had access to in Charms.

Senior Spotlights • Foundation Scholarships

Trojan Band 5K – Please Share

Our 5K is quickly approaching and is scheduled for March 16, 2024. Band students participate as volunteers and perform for our runners throughout the course.
