Our students showed up and represented our community with class in every aspect! They managed their time well, managed their money well, navigated 2 airports and the streets of NYC on multiple occasions. They were terrific guests at the hotel, fun patrons aboard the dinner cruise, and the most entertaining band in the parade! We received numerous compliments regarding our look and sound.

Thank you so much to the parents who made sacrifices to allow their child this extraordinary experience. Thank you to the parents who attended with us! Your willingness to put the students first and assistance with logistics, while keeping everyone together made this trip perfect! Thank you to our band staff for serving as chaperones, trip leaders, and terrific role models to our students. We all made memories that will last us a lifetime! Wicked on Broadway, the Statue of Liberty, dancing the night away with a view of the skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty, seeing the NYC skyline from 100 stories up and walking on glass!!, and marching down 5th Avenue to a sea of audience members! BRAVO!!!

Congratulations to our Carrollton High School Winterguard Members

Tryouts were last week and we are excited about the potential displayed by the following students concerning their work ethic, rapport amongst peers and staff, and commitment to excellence. It is going to be a GREAT year! Our regular rehearsals are on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:15 – 9:15pm. Stay tuned for parent meeting details with more specifics concerning schedule and financial commitment.

Thank you so much to the staff and students who attended the game last Friday vs Harrison to cheer on our Trojans! We have received numerous reports concerning your professionalism and we are so proud of your leadership! Thank you to Ms. Driver, and Ms. Padilla for providing the coaching and supervision, and thank you to Mrs. Malmquist for leading logistics of opening the band room, etc.
