The CHS Winter Guard has worked countless hours to put on their production entitled Sweater Weather, which encompassed high tosses and stunts only a group this talented could bring to life.
During the month of March the girls performed every weekend, including regional competitions at Winter Guard International (WGI) Atlanta and WGI Pensacola, each time maintaining a finalist position. These successes paved the way to the Southern Association for Performance Arts (SAPA) Championships in Chattanooga, TN where they were crowned the 2015 Scholastic A Silver Division Champions!
I could not be more proud of this group of girls. They have worked very hard to pull off a very demanding program and their final run was one to be remembered. Yet none of this could be possible without the support of our director, Mr. Carr, and the parents and volunteers that help to haul our props and equipment to and from every show. We just want you all to know that you are truly appreciated.
