Hey everyone!

Another week is underway and yet another game is right around the corner, so there are a few of quick announcements we wanted to make to make sure everyone didn’t miss!

• This week’s itinerary & volunteer sign-up form for our game against Banneker Friday night has been released: For more information and to sign-up to help, please visit: https://chstrojanband.com/2014/09/23/itinerary-volunteer-sign-up-released-for-this-weeks-game-against-banneker/ (We are starting a little late with this one due to the Exhibition last night… so jump in there and grab your spots!)
• All-In One Fundraiser Kick-Off/Packet Pick-up: Our annual All-In-One Fruit & Meat Fundraiser kicks-off this week on Thursday, September 25th, 2014. This is one of two annual fundraisers that the Band Boosters do to provide funding for all of the supporting items that we provide for our students and band staff throughout the year. Strong participation from all parents, guardians and students in this fundraiser helps keep band fees as low as possible. So please make plans to stop by the band room this Thursday between 6:00pm and 9:00pm to pick-up your All-In-One fundraiser packet. The fundraiser will last from September 25th, 2014 until October 23rd, 2014. A downloadable version of the All-In-One fundraiser packet will be available soon under the “Fundraisers” and ‘Forms” section of our website for those that cannot make it by this Thursday.
  
• Band Boosters Parent/Guardian Tailgating: We are trying to start a new tradition of tailgating for band parents/guardians & staff prior to each home game. This is a great way to get to know other band parents and fellowship before the game and an easy way to get involved, so please make plans to join us! Each week that there is a home game we will release a sign-up sheet to help everyone determine headcount and ensure there is enough food etc. So please, take a minute and sign-up if you plan to attend. This week we will provide the hamburgers and hotdogs, so we are asking people to brings other supporting items or make a small donation towards the cost of the meat (details are on the sign up).  Here is the sign-up sheet for this week’s game against Banneker: Band Booster Tailgate 9/26/14 Sign-Up Sheet  We hope to see you there… and don’t forget your sports chair!
• If you ordered and paid for Band Boosters Shirts (black shirts) previously, they will be available for pick-up this Thursday at the band room during the All-In-One Kick-Off from 6:00pm till 9:00pm. You can stop by and pick them up or have your student pick them up for you. We do apologize for the delay, but there was an issue beyond our control at the printers. We are working to ensure a more reliable and effective way for all of our supporters to get their band spirit wear in the future, so thank you for your patience and continued support.
