Stevie B’s on Saturday – $6.50

Happy Wednesday!

I just wanted to post the itinerary for Friday and Saturday again.

Friday

4:30PM we will be loading the large instruments and equipment onto trailer.  If you are available to help out, we would love your help!

Saturday

6:00AM Report Time

6:30AM Students are in full uniform ready to load the bus.  We are wearing our RED show shirts under the uniform for this game.  Please be sure to wear long black socks.

6:45AM Depart

7:45AM Arrive

9:00AM Kick-Off

11:30AM Depart for LUNCH (Stevie B’s – $6.50 per child)

We will be eating at Stevie B’s in Hiram on the way home.  Stevie B’s is an all you can eat pizza buffet similar to American Pie’s Buffet.  Students should turn in their $6.50 to Mrs. Dothard tomorrow or Friday.  We can accept it the morning of as well, but prefer to collect the money ahead of time if possible.  Please bring exact change as this will help us collect the money. We are collecting the money ahead of time in an effort to feed our student expeditiously.  This will prevent everyone from standing in line having to pay individually.

12:00PM Arrive at Stevie B’s for Lunch

1:00PM Depart for Carrollton High School

2:00PM Arrive back at CHS*

It is going to be a great day at McEachern HS!  The temperature is supposed to be blistering on Saturday, please drink plenty of water today, tomorrow, and Friday to prepare for the heat.  We will be sure to rehydrate our students accordingly on Saturday, but need their help in staying healthy.  Thankfully, we are the first game in the morning and will be finishing just as the day is really beginning to heat up.

Although we will be in full uniform it is ok for the students to change out of their uniform before we depart McEachern HS. Extra clothes need to be stored in their garment bags, which will be stored on the trailer.  We will travel with our jackets on the bus so that we can be in full uniform upon exiting the buses.  That reminds me about a quick note about our garment bag order: Our garment bags are currently on back order.  Mr. Ozier has been gracious enough to provide temporary bags until our order comes in.  He offered an alternate bag, but I thought that the ones that we have used in the past were of better quality.  The temporary bags will be handed out to our students on Saturday morning for use on the trip.  Thank you for your patience as we wait for our garment bags.

Thank you so much for your support of our band students!  They continue to work hard daily, improving their performance and are excited about sharing halftime with you on Saturday!
