The Trojan Band had an unforgettable weekend at the Inaugural Ring of Fire Marching Competition at Sonoraville HS! 🎶🔥
Behind the Scenes: Our amazing parents helped with props, uniforms, medical bags, and meals (thanks to Simply Catering for lunch!). Bus drivers even treated students to a Buccee’s stop.
The Show: From the opening hit to the dragon’s flight in Movement 4, the performance earned gasps and thunderous applause. Students performed with focus and maturity well beyond September.

🏆 Grand Champion – first ever at the Ring of Fire! Students even received commemorative rings.
Celebration: Greeted at CHS with lights, honks, and jumbotron congratulations. Dr. Carr kept tradition alive with his “grand champion head shave”!

Trojans are 6-0 and 1st Competition this Saturday

Our Trojans are now 6-0 after a big win against the reigning Alabama state 6A Football Champions, Parker HS from Birmingham. We had a great time hosting our 8th graders on Friday making the band 265 members strong! Thank you to Ms. Menendez, all of the 8th graders, and our INCREDIBLE booster parents who helped us with the logistics of hosting this many extra band students. Our leadership created goody bags, parents ordered and served pizzas and a beautiful cake, Transportation provided a charter bus – it was an awesome evening! This weekend we have our first competition at Sonoraville HS. Check out the post for more information! Go Trojans!
