Instrument Repair

We are very fortunate to have amazing representatives from Arts Music, Music and Arts, and the Gift of Music who visit our school regularly to help with repairs. Here are their phone numbers and email addresses in case you need to get in contact with them. Some weeks, the day that they visit changes, but we typically see them on Thursdays right now.

Additionally, there is a repair person in town who can do emergency repairs. If you need a repair, you can contact them on their website www.bignotemusic.com to arrange an appointment, and they can fix your instrument in their mobile repair shop!

If you’re looking for more reeds, valve oil, or other accessories while we are out you can call one of our representatives, and they can help you place an order that is shipped right to your house. Other options for these items include B2K Music right here in Carrollton. Mr. Brock is a tremendous supporter of our band program and our community. Please visit his business if you need something. If he doesn’t have it, he can order it, or he will recommend you use one of our representatives.

Other options for music-related items are online – Amazon, Musicarts.com, wwbw.com, and many others. Buyer beware, however, of some of the musical instruments that are offered at Amazon. Some of them are made of irreplaceable parts and are considered disposable instruments because repair shops cannot work on them. When purchasing a musical instrument, quality matters. If you have any quality questions, you can reach out to any of our band directors or other local band directors for a 2nd opinion, or call one of the listed music stores to double-check that they can repair the brand of instrument that you are considering for purchase.
