Post/News related to the Carrollton High School Band and possibly some 8th grade band students that may be participating in high school band events.

All-State Great Success!

This weekend, three students from our school participated in the GMEA All-State Band in Athens, GA: Reese Roenigk, Xander Adams, and Demarcus Burch. They were selected after a competitive audition and performed impressive concerts. Additionally, Hunter Moore attended an honor band at Auburn University, representing our school. Our Winterguard also competed at Harrison HS, finishing 7th in their category. Upcoming events include PreLGPE on Thursday, rehearsals, Band 5K, and the WG Friends and Family Show on March 25. Support our programs by participating in the Trojan Band 5K on March 15!

28 Students in District Honor Band!

This weekend, 28 students from Carrollton High and Middle Schools excelled in the Georgia Music Educators Association Honor Band, showcasing professionalism and teamwork during bowling, meals, and a concert after just 12 hours of rehearsal. Additionally, the Trojan Winterguard improved their score at a competition, finishing third. Congratulations to all involved!

Band Makes History in Athens!

The band program recently achieved significant milestones, hosting a GMEA Send-Off Concert and performing at the Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference. The historical performance featured special tributes and premieres, showcasing the students’ dedication and professionalism. Additionally, students excelled at competitions, with several selected for the All-State Band and other honors.
