Congratulations to our Winterguard! They had their final performance of the season on Saturday at SAPA Championships and finished 3rd place in the first round in Scholastic A competition with their season high score of an 81.340 and received a bronze medal! The students performed with grace, beauty, and courage as they took the floor in McKenzie Arena at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga! Thank you so much for everyone’s support, especially the parents who traveled with us this weekend. In addition to performing, the students had the opportunity to watch other groups. They were especially inspired by Noir Independent’s performance, since our very own Coach Brady was performing with that team. Noir finished 1st Place in Independent Open competition. Congratulations!!

Tyler Clotfelter, GHP Finalist!

Congratulations to two Trojan Band members for being among the students recognized for GHP by Carrollton High School. Tyler Clotfelter, a junior, is a finalist for the Governor’s Honors Program in saxophone performance and will participate this summer. Tyler is the first band student from Carrollton High School to be accepted into the Governor’s Honors Program in music! Yadiel Pillar Eneriquez, a sophomore, was named as an alternate for Spanish world language and will participate if an alternate is called up. This is particularly special because Yadiel will be eligible to audition for the program again next year as a junior. They are pictured alongside Allie Grace Ashlock and Kaia Maggiano, Carrollton High School juniors who were also selected as finalists. BBQ Sale

Thank you for your assistance in selling tickets and for spreading the word! On April 15 after school, we will have a group of parents in the lobby collecting money for sold tickets and any unsold tickets. We would also really appreciate your help securing businesses to purchase meals for their employees. We are willing to deliver large orders to make it easier on our customers.

Soda Donations Requested

As we prepare for our annual Band BBQ, we are asking our band families and community supporters to consider donating sodas to help make this event as impactful as possible for our students. We use 12-ounce cans of Coca-Cola, Diet Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Dr. Pepper.

These beverages frequently go on sale throughout the year. By working together and purchasing during promotional pricing, we can stretch our dollars further and reduce event expenses. Every cost we lower means more proceeds go directly to supporting our students through instrument purchases, travel opportunities, scholarships, and program needs. The event is on April 30, 2026, so there is no immediate need, but we wanted to get the word out early so we can begin keeping an eye out for sales.

Thank you for always finding ways to support the Trojan Band. Your generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
