Our bands attended Large Group Performance Evaluations (LGPE) this past week and performed extraordinarily well! I am proud to report that all 3 bands earned Superior Ratings on stage and in Sight-reading! More importantly, they performed with courage and musicality. Their performances were commended by the judges for the musical risks taken and for the abilities displayed by the students! BRAVO! Additionally, we received incredible support from our parents and administration at the event. Dr. Albertus made it out to multiple performances and Mr. Lyle attended despite the performance time coinciding with the Sports Auction on Friday evening. We are blessed by the dedication and service of leaders who go to great lengths to support our teachers and students. Thank you to all who continue to volunteer and love on our band students! Your support is motivating and inspiring for the students and the staff!

On Saturday our Winter Guard performed at the SAPA Show hosted by Villa Rica High School. They had a great performance and their score continues to improve! They ranked 5th in their round on Saturday. This is the final week of their season and have many performances left for you to see! Tuesday night you can support them in our home show in the CHS Gym! Tickets are only $5. They perform again at Villa Rica HS in the friends and family show on Thursday night, and then finish their season with a performance on Sunday at SAPA Championships in McKenzie Arena at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.

Band BBQ

Pre-sales for our Annual Band BBQ begin tomorrow! Students will receive BBQ Packets during class. We ask for each student to sell 20 BBQ Meal tickets and 10 Raffle Tickets to assist our booster club’s operation. Our booster club provides financial, volunteer, and logistical support throughout the year. Fundraisers are used to maintain the fleet of logistical vehicles that haul our equipment and props to all performances, build props, feed students, band camp, host the Christmas Party, Band Awards Night, and other needs throughout the year. The Band BBQ is one of our largest fundraisers of the year. It takes a village and we are very thankful for your support of our booster club!

Winter Guard Friends and Family Show

Our Winterguard will be hosting our Friends and Family Show on March 25, 2025 in the Carrollton High School Gym beginning at 6:00PM. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased via Go Fan. Sign up to Volunteer Here

UPCOMING WIND AUDITIONS • RESCHEDULED

Students from UWG assist us with the wind auditions each year and learned that UWG has a concert on April 3. Because of this, we have moved our audition evening to April 15, the Tuesday that we return from Spring Break.
