Welcome Back from Winter Break!

Over the break, our band did an outstanding job performing for our community in the annual MLK Parade, which was rescheduled due to inclement weather in January. The band brought incredible energy and spirit as they performed for our community. Way to go, Trojans!

Pre-LGPE High School Itinerary

  • 3:30PM All percussion students assist with moving percussion equipment to the MAC
    • All student leadership/aspiring leaders assist with moving chairs and setting up for CMS Concert Band
  • 6:50PM Concert Band students report to Mr. Cox’s room with instruments* (7:30PM Performance)
  • 7:20PM Symphonic Band students report to Mr. Cox’s room with instruments* (8:00PM Performance)
  • 7:50PM Wind Ensemble students report to Mr. Cox’s room with instruments* (8:30PM Performance)
    • If you arrive while a band is on stage performing, please do not enter the performance hall until you hear applause. Use courteous concert etiquette for the performers on the stage.
    • If you are in the audience for the group on stage during your report time. Please report at the conclusion of their performance as to not disturb their performance.
  • At the conclusion of the concert, we need as many students and parents as possible to return stands to under the stage, and move chairs and percussion equipment back to the band room.

Two Traveling to Athens for All-State Band

These two will travel to Athens this Thursday through Saturday to participate in the 9-10 Concert Band conducted by Dr. Robert Dunham! Congratulations Xander and Demarcus!


Auburn University Honor Band • February 27 – March 1

Hunter will travel to Auburn this weekend to represent us in the Auburn University Honor Band. Congratulations, Hunter!


Trojan Band 5K Quickly Approaching!

Our Winterguard will be hosting our Friends and Family Show on March 25, 2025 in the Carrollton High School Gym beginning at 6:00PM. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased via Go Fan.
