We hope that everyone enjoyed the student holiday last Friday and will return to school tomorrow rested and well. This week we have our Veteran’s Day assembly, Veteran’s Day Concert, Winter Guard Tryouts, a fine arts college fair on Wednesday, and our 1st playoff game on Friday at home vs. Dacula HS. Veteran’s Day Concert

Attire: We realize that not all of the concert attire that was ordered has arrived yet. We announced this to the students last week. Please do not go and buy anything else for this concert since you have already ordered attire that has not arrived yet. If you have already received your concert attire that is what you should wear, but if you have not then please wear all black attire.

All students are required to assist with set-up or clean-up of chairs, stands, and percussion equipment. Since Wind Ensemble has a rehearsal right after school, they will assist with getting everything to the MAC before the concert. 2nd Block should assist with moving all equipment back to the band room.

ALL IN ONE UPDATE • IMPORTANT • Date change

In addition to this being posted last week, students were handed back their order forms last week and asked to help spread the news about the change. Thank you so much for your help in spreading the word. This does not affect our meat delivery, only the fruit delivery. Sign Up To Volunteer with Distribution

Our fruit vendor, Florida Indian River Groves, informed us that six tornados produced by Hurricane Milton impacted Indian River County that damaged their property and resulted in some fruit loss. They assured us that the remaining fruit is of exceptional quality and reminded us that it is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Due to the damages it has understandably put them behind schedule, so they will be unable to deliver by November 22. We will still have the meats that were ordered ready for pick up at Tabernacle on November 22 from 9:00AM – 6:00PM and November 23 from 9:00AM – 12:00PM, but the fruits will not be delivered until the first week of December. We do not have a specific delivery date at this time, but it will be between December 2nd and 6th. More information will be announced as it becomes available.

We need your help! Please make sure your customers are aware of this change.

Carroll County Fine Arts College Fair

Mr. Ruby has invited our 11th and 12th grade students to participate in the Carroll County Fine Arts College Fair on Wednesday, November 13. The students will ride a bus to the Carroll County School Performing Arts Center and have the opportunity to interact with music, drama, and art faculty. They will learn about opportunities to continue their participation in college and be able to ask about scholarship opportunities and audition requirements.

Attire: business casual — dress up a little bit • students will be interacting with potential college professors and should dress to make a good first impression.

Itinerary

  • 9:10AM Load Buses
  • 9:20AM Arrive at CCSPAC
  • 9:30 – 11:00AM Attend the College Fair
  • 11:00AM Load Buses
  • 11:20AM Arrive back at CHS
  • Students will report to 3rd and block as normal
