Trojans 4-0 • Home again Friday

This past week was another one filled with memories. We celebrated our Seniors on Friday with a breakfast in the morning and senior night festivities before the game. Thank you to Ms. Dothard, Ms. Dozier, and our senior parents for organizing the breakfast. We had a great turn out and showered our seniors with love. Our football team took care of business in a dramatic 63-0 win vs. Lithia Springs and our Saturday rehearsal was outstanding! Thank you so much to our students for their extraordinary efforts even after a busy week!

Since the weather has not cooperated this far, we have rescheduled the ceremony to honor the Rivers family to this Friday. The ceremony starts at 7:10PM, we hope that you’ll make plans to attend to show our support.

Gainesville Game Itinerary

We home again this Friday. Students should eat before reporting at 5:45PM to get into uniform. Students should pre-order their concessions on Thursday between 5:00pm – 5:45pm in the band room lobby. We are praying for good weather so that we finally have an opportunity to honor the Rivers Family.

  • 5:30PM Stairwell closed to ascending traffic so that we can get the uniforms down the band room
  • 5:45PM Report and get into uniform
  • 6:15PM Uniform Check
  • 6:30PM Depart for the AMP
  • 7:10PM Pre-Game Ceremony Honoring SSG William Rivers
  • 7:30PM Kick-Off
  • 10:30ish Game Ends

Band Shop

Chrissy Robinson is working hard to bring great new merch options to our band fans. She will have the following items available on Friday nights in front of the band room for home games as well as Thursday night rehearsals between 7:30pm – 8:30pm. If you need something on Thursday, please email her at chrisnico52784@gmail.com so that she can make sure to have it out for you.

Health in Band • Edgenuity • PAST DUE

All work was due by Friday, July 26, 2024. If you have not completed the eADAP course yet, that is still open. Get it done now. The rest of the coursework must be completed in Edgenuity and is set up by an assistant principal. If you did not complete the Edgenuity for any reason, please email Dr. Carr. He will be discuss how to proceed with administration.

In the account you will be able to access an itemized report of your band account, the schedule, and more. Make sure that you save it and keep it handy. I plan on sending a message about the website being updated via that link as well as Remind to help us transition to this new platform.
