Welcome 2024-2025 1st Day!

On Saturday we hosted the DCI Watch Party for our students and had a great time! Additionally our prop crew was fast at work on Saturday evening, getting one of the doors painted for the show!! Thank you so much to the volunteers who made Saturday night possible. There was plenty of food and the students had a great time. Tomorrow begins our 2024-2025 school year! And FRIDAY, we have our first game. Please note that the start time changed to 8:00PM because it will be televised on ESPN.

Trojan Band Alumni Named Finalist in International Euphonium Competition

Congratulations to Kelley Ozier! He recently performed for the Semi-Finalist Round of the Falcone International Euphonium Competition and has made been named a Finalist! He competes for the Falcone Prize tomorrow evening at 7:00PM. After graduating from Carrollton, Kelley attended Berry University and is now at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music pursing a masters degree in euphonium performance. He returned home to serve as our baritone tech during band camp a few weeks ago. Kelley, thank you for being an inspiration to all of us. You make us very proud! We are excited to hear how you do in the final round. Congratulations and Good Luck! Go Trojans!

Annual Information Update

Trojan Families: It’s time to make sure we have the most up-to-date information for you and your student. 1st Day of School • August 12

Quick reminder that the 1st day of school is on August 12. Students will report to advisement first that morning. The warning bell for the start of school is 8:20AM, and 1st block begins at 8:25AM. School is released at 3:15PM. Please review our dress code in the parent/student handbook when planning your school day attire. Handbook en español.

Thank you to everyone who has already brought in water! We are still collecting water and can accept donations any day next week. Thank you so much for your help in keeping our students hydrated!

Health in Band • Edgenuity • PAST DUE

All work was due by Friday, July 26, 2024. If you have not completed the eADAP course yet, that is still open. Get it done now. The rest of the coursework must be completed in Edgenuity and is set up by an assistant principal. If you did not complete the Edgenuity for any reason, please email Dr. Carr. He will be discuss how to proceed with administration.

  1. Visit: www.clever.com/in/Trojans and LOG IN, using your school login information. 
  2. Click on Imagine Edgenuity, it has a purple icon

CutTime

We are very close to completely transitioning over to CutTime. Once we transition each member’s guardian will receive a text message from the database. In this text message will be a MAGIC LINK. Each link is specific per guardian and should not be shared. The link will allow you to access your students account. In the account you will be able to access an itemized report of your band account, the schedule, and more. Once you receive this link, save it and keep it handy.
