Friday night, we wore green plumes in memory of Chase McDaniel and in support of his foundation the Chase the Victory Foundation. You can learn more about the foundation by visiting chasethevictory.com. The foundation provides hope to children battling childhood cancer by gifting shoes and organizing retreats to lift their spirits.

Additionally, we had the opportunity to honor local law enforcement, first responders, and veterans through a combined performance of the National Anthem with the Villa Rica High School Marching Wildcats. Thank you to Mr. Brown and Ms. Wilson for supporting the collaboration. We had a great time preparing, fellowshipping, and honoring our local heroes alongside you.

Saturday our students PUT IN THE WORK! After a fun night of cheering on our Trojans, we put in a 1:00pm – 9:00pm rehearsal to finish our show in time for Homecoming. Thank you to band parents who were there with us to feed the students and make sure that we had what we needed. We are excited to debut our full show after the game on Friday night. Please spread the word for everyone to stay after the game. Thank you to Coach King for agreeing again to the football team pulling the flag after the game. We are thankful for the camaraderie and look forward to bringing the noise for you all next Friday!

Thank you, Tony Antico!
Friday night we celebrated Tony Antico. He volunteered and drove our tractor trailer from 2000 to 2022. He went above and beyond, and many extra miles for our program. Tony, thank you so much for the love and support that you have provided for 22 years. Our community is blessed by you and your family. We love you!

Anniversary Celebration Continues

Did you miss the celebration on August 19? We will continue performing The Opener, Let It Be Me, and Spirit of the Bull during our CHAMP performances before pregame at home games. You can also view the historic slideshow compiled by Rita Gentry using the QR code above or by visiting our alumni page under the “About” menu.
Stay tuned to our YouTube page as we have begun converting our Trojan Band media to prepare it for online premieres. We hope to be able to share the nostalgia and provide a wonderful resource for the families who poured so much time and effort into our program over the years.
Alumni, we also welcome you to join us for Homecoming on September 15, 2023! You’re welcome to perform Space and Fight Song with us during pre-game, some of your favorite Cheers (Cheer 1, 2, Land of 1000 Dances, etc. ) in the stands, and Battle Hymn after the game. You can find music linked here.

All In One Sale Starts on September 18
Here is a video that you can share closer to the event to spread awareness of our fundraiser. The fundraiser starts on September 18!

World’s Finest Chocolate
We are starting one more Chocolate fundraiser to help students earn money towards band fees/NYC. This will be the final chocolate sale of the year. Students will have the option to participate and can receive a box on Wednesday. The band cannot accept chocolate back, so all students who do accept the chocolate will be required to bring $60 back in return or it will be charged to their band account. If you would like your child to receive a box of chocolate on Wednesday, please submit this permission slip.
