We had such a great time celebrating our Seniors last Friday! We started with the senior breakfast in the morning, recognized them during a pregame ceremony, and concluded by marching back to the band room for some stand tune fun! Thank you so much to the parents who provided food and senior goodies for the breakfast! It was a wonderful celebration of our very deserving senior class. Friday Night’s game and halftime were very successful because of the team of volunteers who continue to take care of our band students. Thank you so much for assisting with the flag, podiums, speaker, water, visiting band water and welcome sign, concessions, uniforms, props, front ensemble, and electronics. It was an outstanding debut of The Rise of Troy! We look forward to taking it on the road this week as we face off against Rome on Friday Night in Rome at Barron Stadium.

Anniversary Celebration Continues

Did you miss the celebration on August 19? We will continue performing The Opener, Let It Be Me, and Spirit of the Bull during our CHAMP performances before pregame at home games. Stay tuned to our YouTube page as we have begun converting our Trojan Band media to prepare it for online premieres. We hope to be able to share the nostalgia and provide a wonderful resource for the families who poured so much time and effort into our program over the years.

Alumni, we also welcome you to join us for Homecoming on September 15, 2023! You’re welcome to perform Space and Fight Song with us during pre-game, some of your favorite Cheers (Cheer 1, 2, Land of 1000 Dances, etc. ) in. the stands, and Battle Hymn after the game. You can find music linked here.

World’s Finest Chocolate

We still have boxes of chocolate that is available to our members to sell for credit towards their New York Trip. These are available on a first come, first served basis. Please check in with Dr. Carr, Mr. Nelson, or Ms. Dothard if you’d like a box to sell. Anyone requesting a box is expected to bring back $60 as we cannot accept back any unsold chocolate.

In addition to water donations, we also have a wishlist set up on Amazon that allows parents, friends, and volunteers to easily send donations of snack items for students. The snacks are provided as side items to our meals, on the bus on our way home after a game or competition. We appreciate your help in providing these items for our students. We received many boxes from this past Prime Day sale. Thank you to all of the parents who have already sent in donations!
