Happy Summer!

We hope that everyone’s summer is off to a great start! Just a few reminders and the week at a glance as we continue our guard and percussion summer rehearsals this week. If you need to make payments this summer, please do so on a Tuesday or Thursday when Ms. Dothard is here.

Madee Boatwright and Cadence Carr traveled last week to Georgia State University and represented our school at the GSU Student Leadership Institute. They had the opportunity to meet students from other schools and participate in leadership sessions taught by Frank Troyka, Taylor Watts, Jerell Horton, Bridget Wildes, David Roth, Jeff Harper, and Jared Geer, while Dr. Carr attended workshops by Randall Coleman, Joe Huls, and Jim Schmelzer. Thank you to Adam Dalton and GSU Bands for putting together a wonderful workshop. It was a great 2 days! If you are attending a music/leadership camp this summer please share photos and a little bit about it so that we can share your adventures! Thank you for using the summer time to continuing to invest in your future!
